- **Event Description**: The MedTech Navigator programme delivered by Health Tech Enterprise supports knowledge exchange between the NHS, academia and industry.About this EventThe MedTech Navigator programme delivered by Health Tech Enterprise supports knowledge exchange between the NHS, academia and industry to facilitate the development of novel solutions that will improve healthcare and the patient experience.This event will explore opportunities for collaborative working in Diabetes, highlight unmet needs in innovation and showcase some of the latest technological developments from industry.The focus of the seminar is to highlight unmet needs in diabetes care pathways and explore how innovation in medtech solutions (including diagnosis, medical devices and digital health products) could help to mitigate these. Potential areas to be covered include unmet needs in self-monitoring, prevention, patient education (e.g. gestational diabetes) and treatment of some of the complications resulting from suboptimal management of diabetes (e.g. diabetic foot ulcer, diabetic retinopathy).
